| One of my Yorkies,Lola, that is almost 7 years old has begun acting afraid of her water bowl. I thought maybe it was her tags clanking on it but after removing her collar she is still afraid. We had new "Can Lighting" installed in the kitchen and I thought it was her seeing her shadow appearing as she reacted startled when her shadow appeared but I turned out the lights & she's still reacting to fear of her bowl! Lola haa always beeb skiddish & even displayed fear of her food bowl sometimes but never her water bowl. I feel so sad for her but don't know how to help her get beyond this fear... Any ideas are greatly appreciated! Thanks! Terri NJ YORKIE NOM |

| Actually, your situation is similar for mine too. I didn't realize this until I started going over to my mom's more often. At home, they have their own dish in their own spot. At my mom's, it's different dishes. Occasionally, they'd just stare at the food and wait until I fed the kibble to them. But it depends on how hungry they are. Sometimes they didn't care and just ate anyway. At home, Scottie *must* have a visual on me while he's eating, otherwise he freaks out and goes around looking for me. I also notice they definitely prefer ceramic water/food dishes over stainless steel dishes.
