| Need some input on kitten selection! I am getting a persian kitten and I am stuck between a peke-faced boy (lazy) and doll-faced girl (very playful). They are 5 weeks old right now and I visited them this week (cannot not take home yet) but I can't decide which one to pick. The boy was calm and sleeping and the girl was very playful. I have attached pictures. In the first two pictures, the boy is on left and girl on right. The 3rd pic is the boy and the last is the girl. They are both so lovely and adorable...I don't know which to pick...

Oops, selected the wrong 2nd picture. I have uploaded the correct one. Again, boy on left and girl on right. Thanks in advance for your input!

Thanks for everyone else's input!! I like the girl too because she was playful and came to me. Since they were only 5 weeks old at the time, not sure if that truly reflects their personality just yet.

| See my name... I might have had that many kittens but not admitting to it. I bred Persians forever. Get a girl, less chance of peeing outside the box( boys can spray) Get the most outgoing one unless you want a lap kitty & have no other pets. The quiet ones will stick with you but the outgoing ones love to play with your other pets. After years of raising Persians I might suggest a rag doll. My daughter just bought one and he ( there was no girls) loves to play with my grandsons and when Max the Yorkie goes there they are inseparable! You pick up Hunter(the kitten) and he melts in your arms like butter. They crave attention unlike a Persian that thinks they are beautiful so they sit around like a princess. Still have 2 Persians and they are on the back of the couch sitting pretty all day. Rag dog have the pointed markings like those kittens. |
