| I have often wondered that as well! My neighbor had a little chiawouwa ( i know spelled wrong!) and she used the little box. I wish I had started that with Spice, she is only a year old so i should still be able to. i just dont know. |

| We trained Uni in a cat box. We didn't use litter or the dog pellets. She just went in there, but the pee sometimes would run over to her feet so we put in a pee pad folded in half. When she went we would flip the pad over to the clean side. Worked well for us.

| Teddy uses a litter box. It's the high sided one that comes with a lid (we don't use the lid) cuz he lifts his leg and there's no problem this way! We use a puppy pad at the bottom instead of litter. That just seems too messy. |

| Is it too late for mine? I just got the dog litter below for Carmel and Emma to try...they are 7 years old now () so not sure if it's too late to train them to use the litter box. https://www.amazon.com/Second-Nature...rds=dog+litter I will be gone for more than 8 hours a day and want them to be able to use the bathroom on their own, which is why I want to try this. They don't really use the doggy pads either (they used it when they were puppies). They are used to holding it until we let them our every 4-8 hours. I would like to have an option for them to go inside so they don't have to hold it.
