| In the house, they head to the bedroom. Outside, The first week we had Zippy, a bicyclist scared Zippy away from me, a couple of weeks ago on the ocean beach a persistent friendly large dog sent him behind me... |

YT Addict | Jenna doesn't really respond to large loud noises like what you mentioned, or even thunder, fireworks or gunshots. But she doesn't like raised voices, either happy or angry. She will tuck her head, flatten her ears, wag her tail and slink as quickly as possible to find either me or my daughter. We are the only two she feels safe with. That is, unless someone uses the dreaded "B" word. (bath) Then she's off to find somewhere to hide or, failing that, rolls the belly up and wags her tail so hard her back legs wiggle.

| Jackson is like Eddie. He runs and tries to get as far away from the situation as he can. He does not want to be comforted.

| Teddy thinks he came from the movie, "Braveheart" so he attacks things with his big bark and comes back to me expecting me to say, GOOD BOY. This is when he hears various noises, for example. But, with people, he barks at them and chases them and sits down so they can't walk around him. Apparently, according to the vet, he's terrified but doesn't want them to know it..so I just get forgotten. I have to literally go pick him up to get him to stop freaking out. Weirdo dog in so many ways - just like his owners |

| Hannah is not scared of much at all but when I use my new stapler that makes a clicking noise she runs and sits quietly on the couch until I move away from the stapler then she runs to me for comfort. She's tried running out of the front door a few times and when I scream "Here" she comes running back to me. I think she hears the fear in my voice or it could be she realized she just went outside alone. She's rarely outside so I think the wide open space scares her. Bad weather doesn't faze her at all.

| Emma certainly looks to me for comfort especially when around strangers or in public. If she's at home and scared of lets say the vacuum or my daughters loud music then she hides in her crate, under the bed or in the closet.

YT 1000 Club Member | It's really according to the sound. When its Thundering, Natalie either hides under the bed and shakes, or if I'm standing comes to me to hold her shaking. Thunder doesn't bother Charlie at all. He ignores it. If it's a loud boom, Natalie will run toward it barking then run back to me and Charlie tends to follow her but without barking, then he will go back to whereever he was sleeping.

| Chloe will run to me, after she tries to find the noise and bark like crazy! Has anyone out there had any trouble with hawks coming after the little dogs? |

| Oh yes!!!!!! Watch out for the Hawks. They are too fast for our pups to get away from, even to get to use, if they are attacked! Happens unbelievably fast

| Joey always runs towards me. My FAVORITE is when he barks at another dog and that dog tries to come over to say hello, and then Joey runs behind my legs and hides. It cracks me up that he asks for attention and then gets nervous. He's such a baby!

YT 500 Club Member | Toby will back away from it barking, then run up behind said animate or inanimate object or person and bite the hell out it and then back up to me and try to push me away from it. So he's a cheap shot and a gentleman. Izzy will just run and hide in another room for an hour if it has anything to do with electricity, lightening, or similar sounds. If it's a person or another dog she runs straight to me and commandeers my lap and to hell with whatever I was doing. So she obviously thinks I I'm invincible. Funny though, Scott has always play fought with her and talked s**t to her in a mean voice like she's an actual person while they're doing it, so if someone's loud or acts aggressive, she gets all wiggle butt happy and wants to start horse playing with them. It's funny. No fear there whatsoever. |

| My Mitsi runs full force at Me while occasionally stopping to bark at the thing that caused the fear. I am not sure why She prefers this strategy, It looks like it requires more work |
