To me almost always. The chorkie will duck behind my legs. Rare exception being if she's been scolded, then she's just a sass.

Benny runs all the way in to my arms whenever something's wrong. It wasn't always this way thought, he just learned that I'm always there for him whenever he needs me, and I earned his trust.

Hi!!! This is my first post! !! My name is Denise and I'm a stroke survivor and have always loved dogs, especially yorkies. Had one in high school and he was stolen. My goddaughter and her husband found my CoCo and, the owner who couldnt care for him anymore. Coco's brothrr rently drowned and he was always running, they think, -to find him. Owner afraid he wluld be killed because of lifestyle change and not available to be home to watch him so gave him yo them. They gave him to me, and Ive been in heaven, even with the minor challenges, new environment and all. He's 8 years old and spoiled, or maybe thats normal expectations. We've been a family for 2 months now. Eating challenges, etc. Loving the journey it will be learning each other. : ) He doesn't run to me when scared. He hides when he's in trouble. Hope that changes.

runner My little girl will run to me. Sometimes she will look at me like I am the one that has scared her, ever though I haven't at all. lol She will run to me and I pick her up and cuddle her and comfort her. What will I ever do when she is no longer with me??? She is 15 years old and is doing very well for her age. I love her soooooo much! Everyone have a great Monday! Lisa

Puppy open fontanelle My 8 wk. old Yorkie male saw vet for the first time 7-5-16. Puppy was purchased from unregistered breeder on 7-1-16. He has had head & nasal congestion since purchasing puppy. The vet DX him with open fontanelle. He also said we could try ABX for head congestion. What can we expect with this condition. He is 1#, plays with our 5 mos. Old Yorkie, eats well, follows us around. Breeder has offered to take puppy back & reimburse us, but know he would not care for the little guy & we are already in love with him. Will follow up with vet in 1 week. Has anyone gone through this & can give us some in sight??
