| How often do you brush your pups' teeth? I think we've done one like this before, but what the heck. Kinda wondering how many do it more than 1x daily (not happening here - great job though if you do!).

| I'm not seeing a poll. My answer = 0. We use Leba III.

| I'm not confessing because I'll be in trouble. Max's teeth look great, and Teddy's are decent and improving with the little effort I have made.

| I give a quick rub rub with a wet cloth and dog tooth paste everyday. Brush for real 1 or 2 times a week. My dogs get greenies or denta-sticks too. (only Rubin has dentals at Vet. Gracie is only 2 and Abba boy and Ginny Joy are puppies) |

| I brush Heidi's teeth most everyday. Every now & then I might forget a night or put it off. Not part of the poll I know, but i have a question regarding the subject. Do you guys think it's safe to brush twice a day with CET? Sometimes I've wanted to & concerned too much might be bad for her. I usually lighty cover the brush, do one side and then reapply to brush and do the other side. You think that'd be too much twice a day for a 5 lb Yorkie?

| I have never brushed Cooper's teeth. As a child I had a yorkie that lived to be 19-years-old. My family never brushed his teeth. Cooper eats kibble, chews rawhide bones and gets "teeth healthy" treats. Maybe I'm being naive, but you know the saying..."If it ain't broke don't fix it!"

Another option if you are really nervous is to just do it with water for the second brushing. Probably not as effective, but maybe better than nothing. Toothpaste should not hurt though. BTW, the College of Vet Med at Michigan State says it's best to do it 2x daily...

| Thanks for answering that Crystal. I've been wondering about that. She's really going to love me now brushing them twice a day! Lol. She doesn't mind a whole lot though. I can really see a big difference in her gum color than when i first started. And her teeth sparkling white with no bad breath. To original poster - my previous yorkie was almost 18 when she died. I never brushed her teeth either. But since i've gotten Heidi i could tell her gums were starting to get bad until i started brushing them. I could visually see a difference.

| Everyday using MaxiGuard Oral Gel...Sometimes twice a day. His teeth aren't really good. Had it cleaned last year but need to keep up with brushing. He hates it though so it feels like a chore doing it.
