| Did you take your yorkie to professional training class? Just curious how many of you took your yorkie through dog training classes? Stomper is sooooooooooooo hyper, stubborn and smart. I feel like I need to keep training him or he will rule us! He has gone through three training classes (including the one he is in now). Those include puppy training, puppy grad training and advanced training.

| I voted no, but I want to tell you that if they had any around here I would. It would have been better for her, and for me. She's nearly 10 and still doesn't mind me at all. I was working then, so I'm trying really hard to get the basic "come/sit" down at least now. It's not easy being in the center of nowhere.

| Class I've enrolled my baby in classes for Home Obedience #1 and let me tell you. I don't think it helped much. He still doesn't mind but I believe thats just the Yorkie trait. He can however do sit and down on command (with treat in hand)

| Bouncer went to one only b/c we had it free. Other than that, I've trained all of my dogs on their own.

| Mine are service animals so we train all the time...I train myself, we go to classes and we do private lessons as well depending the behavior needing to be taught. My dogs all love it. |

| Teddy is in a adolesence obedient class. Our sole purpose for enrolling was to build back his confidence after he was attacked by another dog. I am finding it very interesting to actually learn myself what drives these little munchkins thought process. What you both learn not only makes sense but works!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Call it a sad reflection on my life if you want, but Eddie's training day is the highlight of my week. We've been to basic obedience, advanced beginner and are just wrapping up attention class. That's 22 weeks, and we haven't missed a class. I don't think I could say the same for my work. The obedience part of it is great. He (mostly) comes when I call him now. But the bonding is even better. It's like we're learning to communicate, and I think he appreciates it as much as I.

| I put second level of obidince on my girl the old yank and scold and make them do it way. After she said enough we went back to school and started clcker training. She is a much happier girl and our bond is very strong. |
