Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | How Potty Trained is Your Yorkie (s)? Just curious and thought a poll would be interesting. All 3 of my babies still have 'mistakes' on occasion. We mostly use pee-pads, btw.

| I voted 75% potty trained but I would say she's about 95%. She has occasional accidents (I'm not counting times when she rings and I dont' get there fast enough ) but rings her bells and goes potty outside more than 3 out of 4 times. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Joey's 100% trained at our house, but I have low standards. If he poops in the right room that's a winner for me. He just doesn't like pooping on the pads, so we have a room for him. His poops are firm and small, so it doesn't bother me. Occasionally, he pees in a weird spot, (not on a pee pad) but I think it has more to do with his "nephews" visiting. In other words, what I call 100% others would call 90%, but this works for us. His nephews (a Maltese and a Shih Tzu) are horrible when they visit here, and they are trained to go outside! They are 100% at their homes, but at my home they think nothing of going in the living room. Joey doesn't even do that!

| Bella and Sherman are 90% trained. For the most part they go outside and go potty, however if we are late getting home sometimes there is an accident but not often.

| He is 99% trained only because he will try to pee by the front door. When I see him by the door, I say to him - You're not doing pee pee, are you? Then he runs and takes off and turns around and barks at me. He knows he got caught and it's like he's telling me off!! Too funny! |

| Gia is 4 months old, and she's about 50/50 - she does great in small spaces (her "room"; playpin, etc.). But in larger spaces, she tends to not feel like going on the right spot. She's about 90% accurate with tinkling - but she RARELY poos on the pad, unless I catch her sniffing and I run over there and encourage her.... |

| Ziva is 100% with me- only 80% with my husband, he is too impatient to wait for her to finish and doesn't hear her grumbly noise to go out.(it's ok cause then she'll have her "accident" under his desk! |

| I said 75% because if I don't wake at night he'll use his pee pad for poos but never wees inside, he eats in evening so that is my fault, but always on the pad so I can't growl, need to train him to wake me.

| Mabel is terrible! She pee's on her grass patch and then goes right upstairs and pee's in the hall! Drives me crazy!! And my husband is really fed up and complains all the time! I need to confine her to the kitchen/family room but I can't find a gate wide enough!(75 inches) I do blame myself tho...she really wants to please us! When we get back in 3 weeks from a long vacation I'm really going to get serious! So take another poll in a few months!! Hope springs eternal!!!
