| Breeders have told me for years never to give the Lepto shot. So my yorkies get their distempter shots w/o lepto.

| I don't believe Sasha ever had this vaccine. If she did, she had it when she was very young and hasn't had it since. |

| My girls did not react, but they only had this vaccine and were given a pre-treatment before the injection. They have only had this once and I will never give it again, though.

| Yes, both my girls have had it. My breeder recomended it. Actually, today is my girls annual check up and she is getting re-immunized for Lep today. I know immunizations are very contentious, but because my dogs go a lot of places with me and have an active social life, I sleep better knowing that they are vaccinated against most things. |

| My yorkie had a life threatening reaction. He was in pain and breathing with a lot of difficulty. I thought he was going to die. The vet told me that he was allergic to that shot. I dont want to give it to him again. My past yorkie ,eventhough he had a liver shunt never had a reaction to it. |

| My previous vet didn't give it. We're now going to MSU and they definitely advised to have it. I admit I was scared to death with Toby's first one, but he had absolutely no problem with it. Lola just had hers earlier this week and no problems either. Toby is due for another at the end of the month so I'm sure I'll be anxious again.
