| Do you Floss? Okay, this is totally random, but I was chit- chatting with a bunch of my friends and the topic just popped up. Do you guys/gals Floss everyday? I too don't Floss enough! I know i'm bad and I should be taking better care of my teeth, but for some reason I just don't like to Floss! And when I do, I bleed as well. Last edited by x t i n e; 08-06-2005 at 09:03 PM. |

| I floss, but not nearly enough. I HATE flossing! I bleed constantly (which duh - should be a sign that I need to more often ) and my gums get super swollen afterwards.... It's a habit that I really need to do regularily |

| My dentist fusses at me every time I go to floss more.....I mean I've never had a cavity and have good dental hygene, but...I hate flossing...I know it wouldn't be so bad if I were to be used to doing it more often. Grrr, but thanks for the reminder. I'm going to go floss now.

| Its funny you started this thread, I've wondered the same thing about others. I floss everynight, I never skip. My husband only flosses a few times a week and I dont know how he goes that long. My husband swears I am the only person who flosses every night.

| Ok now I am going to sound like the OCD freak again................. I floss after every meal. And when I get up in the morning and before I go to bed at night. I am seriously a freak I tell ya. I really am. I brush my teeth so many damn times I lost count. |

| If all the clever people got their way, we would live by a tight schedule with stretching, flossing, healthy food, exercise, meditation, conversation etc etc - and there would be no time left for us to do as we please....so I floss when I feel like it, just like anything else

| that is so funny that you brought this up. my husband and i were arguing today because i tell him he needs to floss and he insists that his teeth are perfect and there is no need to floss. well he went to the dentist today and what did they tell him. no cavities pretty healthy teeth BUT YOU NEED TO FLOSS! ha ha i'm glad i was right. he went and spent money at the dentist office when i told him what the dentist told him. he should have just listened to me. lol |

| Funny question!! I have the worst teeth when it comes to cavities... SO I do floss with those floss picks, I have them by my night table and use them almost everynight.. My husband also didn't floss and he is paying dearly for it now, He has to have deep cleaning every 3 months and it hurts!!

| Well, as the manager of my husband's two dental offices, I would be a hypocrit if I didn't. I hate sitting in the hygiene chair for any longer than necessary and periodontal disease can be life threatening when the bacteria travels to the other organs like the heart, so I am pretty religious about flossing... although not as religious as Kelly....lol. That's a good habit to have OCD about. |

| My nephew is a dentist. He told me to only floss the ones I wanted to keep. I do occasionally. |
