| Yes. In case he gets lost and his collar fell off, he still have a chance of coming home if someone scans him.

| All of mine except Kissy were chipped when they got spayed. I would never do it to them when they were awake. It is extremely painful to insert that grain of rice. I saw a big dog get it done and it really hurt them. I can't imagine doing it to one of our little ones when they were awake. I highly recommend it but not when they are awake. If i ever have Kissy put out for anything, i'll have her done. They didn't have it availalbe 7 years ago when i got her. |

| I researched the safety of microchipping and after feeling very reassured as to Pokey's health and safety of getting it, there was no question about it. I had it done as soon as I could. Pokey is my child. I would be lost without her. With all the lost dog and theft stories out there, I want proof she is my baby. We fingerprint and have DNA for our skin children, but with our fur babies, I feel the only way the ensure the whereabouts and safe return of my fur baby is the microchip. I recently moved and my fear of Pokey wandering away in unfamiliar territory is reduced due to the fact that she has that blessed microchip!
