IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING MICROCHIP:

You must register your pets in order for the micro chipping system to effectively benefit you...
You must register their chip# and your information because if you don't register your pets, there really is no use in micro chipping!!

Both Tinka and Tyke are chipped it is a pre-requisite of there medical aid insurance - no chip, no cover.

Slade isn't. The shelter here doesn't check for it so its pretty pointless to do. However, if I start traveling with him or when we move I will definitely have it done.

I highly recommend it but not when they are awake. If i ever have Kissy put out for anything, i'll have her done. They didn't have it availalbe 7 years ago when i got her.

All three of mine are chipped. Two were done under anesthesia for spay/neuter and one was done awake. She just looked around, didn't yelp or move, so I don't think it's that bad.
