I am pretty sure that I have settled on one definite name for our puppy. I tossed around different names, but wasn't crazy about any of them. This name just popped into my head and I think it's cute. I want to make sure that people would know to pronounce it as HO-BEE and not Hobby,though. What do you think...would this be a problem??

Ha ha. I chose Hobie for Hobie Cat too.

But, to be honest, all four of those read just fine. No one is going to confuse the pronunciation. I say just go with your favorite.

ok, I have to disagree with Mike (big surprise there) I think Hobie would be pronounced like (ryhmes with Bobby) and Hobey would be pronounced ho-bee by most people.

Oh no....I had decided on spelling it, Hobie. Now I am worried about it being pronounced incorrectly. I had also decided on this spelling because of the registered name that I have picked. Maybe I should start another poll to see how most people would pronounce Hobie.

I would think you should spell it Hobie. How ever you do spell it it is a Great name
