I chose option 4 because I have snuck Lacy into places a few times. I usually do not take her to places that I know she is not allowed such as grocery stores and restaurants but there have been times that I have snuck her in when I needed to. She goes almost everywhere with me

I actually tried to sneak Jesse into a grocery store today. It didn't work. It was actually a test, because a friend of mine asked me to go shopping with her and was arguing with me that she has seen dogs there before. I didn't actually try to sneak in with him, I just carried him in. Security was all over me within minutes!

I totally understand dogs not being allowed into restaurants or grocery stores, but I like to take him with me to clothing stores and anywhere like that. Luckily. here in LA, dogs are more welcome than children in most places.

My answer # 4.

One day I had a situation. I had to stop in QFC store just to buy a couple things. Of course, I don't take Jessica in store like those, but she was in stroller, and I decided to try. I zipped the stroller, and asked lady "may I come inside?". Surprisal, her answer was "why not"?! Please, come in !!!
She was very nice and even told me how she shop with her pet. She said: "If anybody tells me: "don't you see the sign" no pets"", my answer: "Sorry, my dog is too small and cannot read yet"

But I still afraid to go to grocery stores with her, either live her in car, so sometimes I just hide her.

Well I chose #3 but I have accidentally taken mine into Walmart. I had been to PetSmart & needed to go to the pharmacy and wasn't even thinking about it. I have one of those carriers that looks like a purse, I always just put my wallet in the outside pocket anyway so I just walked right in. The girl at the pharmacy counter saw the little face peaking out and everyone had to come over & see but noone said anything about me having to leave

I said #3 but mostly #2.....it depends on where you go in this town. I've had Izzy with me at Lowes, HomeDepot, furniture stores and the local flower nurseries. Have taken her to our favorite doggie bakery and of course the usual Petco or Petsmart. In the summer it's easier taking her places especially restaurants cause if you sit outside to eat they don't say anything to you.

I don't try to take Georgie EVERYWHERE but my husband and I travel a lot, always with Georgie. Sometimes we have to take him places we otherwise wouldn't. When we moved to NC he went house shopping with us and to the model homes when we decided to build. We took him to a furniture mall and other places.

I totally understand indoor places that serve food not wanting pets inside. It is frustrating when we're seated next to a family with kids that are loud and rowdy and our furbaby has to stay home- he's much less disruptive then most children.

When we took a weekend trip to Myrtle Beach we had a bit of trouble. They have a large boardwalk with restaurants (all with seating outside) and we had to try a few places befor we found one that would serve us. Even though Georgie was in his stroller.

I believe Jeb Bush passed a law in Florida that dogs are allowed at any restaurant with an outdoor eating area. Does anyone know if that's correct?

That was the plan but it didn't work out that way.
To lug Buddy around just breaks my arm. I do push him
in the cart threw the pet store for his food and treats.
But that's about it.

My Jess likes Petco. Sometimes I stop there only because it is like a fun for her, she smells everything, looks at birds..... maybe, I am crazy mom....

I try to take Annika sometimes with me but not very often as I don't want Tiger to feel bad . . . mostly to the fabric store but Joann's just posted that they are now only allowing service dogs so Annika won't be joining me anymore

when we do go to Seattle, I sneak Annika to restaurants all the time and she is as quiet as a mouse . .

Really? Everytime I go to Joanne's in CS, I take Lacy with me. All the workers there just love her.

I voted #2. This isn't a dog friendly town. We used to take them inside the post office and now there is a sign posted NO PETS ALLOWED. :-(

I've only snuck Mr. Biggs in a few times when I didn't want to leave him in the car and just had to run into Target or WalMart.

Oh, and he's going to the mall with me tonight to get his daddy's B-Day Present

I didn't vote, but I take mine shopping only sometimes....when I do not have too many errands to run. AND generally, they only go where they are allowed, as Mojo can not stand to be in a bag.
