| Yes. I've seen these mirrorless cameras at Fry's and Best Buy a little bit ago. No one at the big box stores know much info about it so I never really looked into them. Plus at full retail, was out of my price range. But I liked the smaller size. After talking to Mike on here, he pretty much convinced me to look into them further. What I got is an older model that is better in quality vs the entry level dslr I was going to get, and it was cheaper!

| Apparently sony makes an adapter so you can use other brands. But I'm sure the Sony ones would be fine. I'm planning on just getting a zoom lens for now. The camera I got can do macro, so let's see how that goes when I get it. I found a blog that this guy was strictly a Nikon guy and now totally changed over to Sony. He recommended three lenses for this camera. Sony doesn't make a ton of lenses, but I am not going to get a ton anyway.

| The lenses are more then the camera . But I've seen in person comparisons of $$$ vs $$$$ and there is a really big difference...But I have holes in my pockets. So the Sony ones are still good. Just don't compare |

| What do you guys use as far as camera bags? Or just have the one lens for the day and carry around your neck?

| I usually just carry one lens and have a neck strap and wrist strap. For quick day stuff. But when out for the day I carry a EDC back pack and keep all my stuff in there.Other then camera.I have many camera bags and never used them much. Just to store. |

For just walking around though, I usually just use my neck strap and carry the camera on my shoulder.

| I use either a Billingham or a Think Tank bag. They are messenger style, but my Think Tank bag has an accessory that converts it to a backpack. I also have a Think Tank holster bag. I use an Upstrap on my camera, which really prevents it from sliding off of my shoulder.

| I got it and I love it so far! Fed Ex guy came super late. Almost 7. He pulled up and I went outside to meet him. He was texting on his phone for like 2 mins before he went and got my box. LOL If he does that at every stop, no wonder why he was so late! Anyway, the camera does GREAT in low light. Mike, you were right, I don't need a flash. Here's some test pics I got right out of the box in auto mode. The Toto tongue pic is a bit blurry but I can't resist a tongue shot. The camera is fast. Of course not the fastest but WAY better than what I am used to. I still have a LOT to learn. The manual is confusing as hell. I don't know what 99% of the stuff means. | Practice and u will get better. learn the Manual settings. They will take way better pics then the auto...If set right. You may not think so at first but you can tweek them. Sometime I think I got the manual down sometimes wtf. So I take a pici in auto and manual. To make sure at least one is right |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Excited for you, yay, it has arriveth!! Lol on the crusty face, bc that's how mine look too . Manual and the associated settings will seem like utter Greek for a while, usually. Then after reading and reading some more, it will suddenly sort of click a bit, then click a bit more until it makes total sense. I the low light conditions you're shooting in, don't forget you can also adjust the ISO which can help a ton! If you go too high w/ ISO, it can get a bit grainy...but sometimes that's a cool look too...just depends upon what you're looking for. I may have something to help you along too, if I can find it. It's the little guide I received from a beginners DSLR course from years back. I'd probably have to copy it mail it to you...? I'll see if I can find it...

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Okay I found the little guide I was looking for...I don't know how helpful it will be, actually, it's very brief and super basic. But if you do want me to email it to you, PM me your addy...I scanned it in case you want it...
