| Pomegranates First mangos, now pomegranates for sale in the midwest at Krogers. I have bought a few, but have no idea what to do with a pomegranate. For those in the know.. do you eat the seeds raw or make something with the seeds or juice? Just curious and thanks for your suggestions.

| I have purchased juice .. And in Costco the have chocolate covered pomegranate But to your question.. I think you take the seeds out. Very messy so be careful. The seeds are yummy! I just eat them, put them in my "green" drinks in the morning. Lots of stuff like that. Very good for you Enjoy

| Lil sis is right...they can be very messy and the juice stains big time. I actually got a pomgranite seeder at walmart for a buck or two but its not necessary. How I cut them is I cut the knob on the end off and then cut the fruit in half. I score about 5-6 lines on the edge of each half. Flip the edge over into a bowl and hit first the center and then the sides hard with a heavy spoon...usually that seeds it pretty good!

| I had a coupon last week for the poms that are already seeded - literally, the seeds are in a cup - no work on my part - talk about lazy...

| Thanks everybody for your suggestions! I have not tried the wooden spoon thing yet on the video, but I have enjoyed eating the seeds raw. Actually, getting them out takes awhile, and that is a good thing for a fast eater like myself. Also, I looked it up and half a pomegranate is only 37 calories.
