| Sometimes I just want a good bowl soup..... I'm always looking for new recipes to try out when I came across this one for soup. The picture looked sooo good, I just had to try it. This one is definitely going in my "keeper" file. We had some leftover chicken from the grill so I used that, it had more flavor than using some simmer breast meat. I used the vacuum sealed moist gnocchi, not the dried. I also didn't use all the h&h, I only used 1 pint, that was plenty for me. I served it with some shredded Parmesan cheese on the top.....loved it...... Here's the recipe if you want to try it out yourself... | Sounds very yummy. I didn't know what gnocchi was so I checked out the "make your own gnocchi link. I'm going to have to give it a try. |

| When I'm jonesing for some creamy soup and I have NO patience I use a Shore Lunch or a Bear Creek soup mix. I always do add ins and my favorite is the Cheddar Potato and make it with beer, chicken, and/or ham. I always keep some on hand for that quick fix. =) For homemade I enjoy squash or pumpkin. =)
