| New Year Resolutionists Join me in doing the Whole30! I started doing a paleo lifestyle several months ago and the benefits have been great. My joint aches and pains are gone, my allergies are much better and my daily headaches are a distant memory. I lost 17 lbs but then slipped back into some old habits..... I'm going even more strict to really detox from the holiday garbage that has been around. I would love some company from other YTers who want to maybe improve their health and lose weight. Also, if you've already done this, I'd love to hear from you about how it worked for you and how you are doing after. The Whole30® Program | Whole9 | Let us change your life.

| I read about it and its too extreme for me. I cook for a family and cooking for them then cooking a separate meal for me is just not something I want to do. I do wish you much luck with it though. Im going to implement more exercise into my day thats my resolution

| I am going to continue carb cycling into the New Year. It seems to work well for me and I can fit it into my lifestyle with ease. I work with children all day ~ sometimes the food just jumps off their plate into my mouth tho

| This is great! I just started Paleo 2 days ago! I was a vegan for many years and a vegetarian years before that. I cannot digest dairy or red meat and have built up my tolerance to white meat. So this is good timing. I'm really excited for it.

| That's great. Hopefully you will be able to eat more meat as you get going. I do a lot of fish and shrimp. I thought I would spend a lot of money eating shrimp and salmon and cod but I think the boxes of processed foods are much more costly. I literally cannot eat any dairy now without severe joint pain and inflammation. I do like pizza so I make my own with butternut squash and then just add a teeny bit of mozzarella. I love the blogger Elana of Elanas pantry - she has great and easy recipes. I also am big into my vegetable spiraling tool and make zucchini spaghetti with shrimp in a light marinara. My biggest problem is that I've eaten too many restaurant meals for the last month and too many alcoholic drinks. So come jan 1, it's whole30 for me.

| I LOOOVE homemade pizza. Do you have a Whole Foods near you? In the vegan dairy section, there is shredded soy cheese called "Daiya." It does have a different taste but I love it. Chad loves cheese and doesn't, lol. Of course, it IS soy, but I think soy is better than dairy (less of two evils, especially since I can't have dairy).
