| Party Foods : Which ones are you SICK to DEATH of seeing? Party Foods: Which ones are you weary of seeing? I love appetizers and grazing. I am always on the hunt for something new or even something old that can be revived. I also am tired of some options that everyone seems to make. For example, I am really over the cheese ball. Really over it. I also liked the shrimp with lemon and parsley or basil or whatever but I'm starting to get sick of that now especially because people are buying it commercially and it is not well done. Again I like hummous and layered dip and chips and salsa but please can we see something new out there peeps? I suppose 40 or 50 years ago everyone served Lipton's onion dip. We seem to get stuck on the same trends until we kill them dead. Am I being overly critical? Do you agree? Disagree? With the Holiday season right around the corner, I am curious to know if others feel the same way

| For appetizers or party foods, we like zucchini pie, stromboli or eggplant rolatine. |

| I love trying new things...well at least I have just recently started trying new things. One of my favorite appetizers is spinach dip warm with lots of melted cheese and sour cream..Had it yesterday at Cheddars and I wish I had their recipe, it is the best I have ever tasted. I always order it when we eat there.

| All holidays around here..it is the same old stuff usually. Cheese balls, sausage balls and I am tired of them too. My brother makes a jalapena popper that we fight over at Christmas...he uses deer tenderloin and wraps that around a cream cheese stuffed jalapeno and then grills them..OMG it is to die for.

What apps are you sure to see over and over that aren't as good as they are predictable?

| I host a monthly meeting with a potluck and people fight over who gets to bring the plain cut up fruit, the plain cut up veggies, and velveeta and saltines. Gag me! I'm also sick of people that bring store bought deserts in droves-do we really need 6 plates of brownies, 2 cakes, and 3 pies? I never make the same thing twice, because I'll be the one eating all the leftovers if there are any. I made mini meatloaf "cupcakes" with mashed potato "frosting" garnished with bacon bits and paprika last potluck we went to and people went crazy over them. |

Also tired of spinach artichoke dip. It's been popular for some years, and while it has spinach and artichoke in it, it's so unhealthy! But for the most part I don't get invited to a lot of parties.

| Oh you know what is a good party food is spring rolls, but you have to individually wrap them in saran wrap otherwise they dry out.
