| Salad dressings I'm trying to eat better and want to eat more salads and veggies. Anybody have any good recipes for dressings? Healthier alternatives. |

| I love salads! They're delicious. Ralphie May – Prime Cut – 2007 – part 2/6 | Practical Weight Loss Help Start it at 2:32 or watch the whole thing, he's hilarious. Anyway, a good balsamic with a bit of olive oil, or lemon and salt and pepper is my go to when I eat a salad at home. Healthy and yummy. Also if you want to use coconut oil, that's a good alternative too.

| If you like Blue cheese..... Buttermilk is SO good and much healthier than most people believe. Better for you than mayo or sour cream or even whole milk!! 1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk 1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar 1 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions 1/2 cup (2 ounces) crumbled blue cheese Preparation Combine first 6 ingredients in a bowl; stir with a whisk until blended. Stir in onions and cheese.

| Dressings are so easy to make I rarely buy a bottled one. If I do it's a raspberry walnut vinegarette. I usually do balsamic vinegar, olive oil, dijon mustard, salt and pepper. Always good. |
