| Dedicated pots and pans I have a few pieces of cookware that only I use. One is my cast iron cornbread pan. NO ONE touches that pan except me without special permission ant ONLY to cook cornbread. I also have a dedicated Pampered Chef Stone that I use for biscuits. I'd love to hear from our YT cooks about their special single purpose pots and pans. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Cute thread idea. I understand about your cast iron cornbread pan. I'm particular when it comes to my cast iron skillet too. Hands down, my iced tea pan. I have some very expensive pans, this one is not though. It's a cheap little 1qt saucepan, but it's the perfect size for steeping my tea leaves for iced tea. No one else is allowed to use it or even wash it after I've used it. I want it clean, rinsed over and over again, left with a mirrored shine. Any residue that could be left from cooking other things in it, will make my iced tea foul tasting...and can't have that!

I have baking stones too. But the "beauty of them" is that they son't hold odors or flavors ~ no need for separate stones.

| I too have a cast iron skillet I use for cornbread. Funny thing about it is that is so old but looks almost like new. The greatness of cast iron. My granny gave it to me when I got married! Lol. But I think she told me it was to hit my DH on the head if he got out of line. Now it is only used for cornbread.
