| What is your food personality? So how do you prefer your food to taste? Spicy and/or hot (2 very different things BTW) or more on the plain jane and blander side? I love love love SPICES! I have probably 60 different spices in my cupboard at any given time plus fresh herbs growing on my lanai. I ALSO love HEAT ~ but not so much that my taste buds go numb and I can no longer taste my food. On a scale of 1-10 (as they ask in restaurants for a heat scale) I am a "6" So, what is YOUR food personality?

| I'm a 5. People would say Im an adventurous eater, I'd say you are all chicken. I shun no cultures, and will try anything twice, if I didn't like it the first way, I will try if from a different cultures way of cooking it. The only thing that will never ever pass my lips again is sea cucumber. Google it, if you dare!! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I do not like heat at all...bc then I can't taste flavor (wimpy). I love exotic spices, such as are used in Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine, Indian, Nepalese etc - so delish!

| Definately plain jane/bland here...usually just salt...if I'm being really wild, lemon pepper or garlic. As for spicy/hot stuff...I'd maybe be a 1... if mild nacho cheese 'n' chips would qualify as a 1. If food is well prepared, I just don't see the need for other flavours to overpower the taste of the food itself.

| I guess that may be the difference. Those that don't like heat or spices prefer sweet flavors to savory? I don't really like sweets very much.

Do you like sweets with heat? I like sweet chinese dimsum like the sesame balls dabbed in sambal olek.

| SPICY! I also like heat to an extent - probably around a 5. I usually prefer savory food over sweet food...not that I dislike sweet. I'll eat most anything.

| I like spicy foods and I am probably a 5 on the hot scale. I like some sweets but I am weird I don't like meal foods to be sweet. If there are sweet side dishes like candied sweet potatoes or anything similar I eat them for dessert

| yeah, I don't really like fruity sauces or salsas much. I like savory to be savory for the most part.
