| I just cooked up some rainbow trout and topped with a butter, lemon, and capers sauce and served it with some big spears of asparagus sauteed with garlic and red pepper flake. God I love rainbow trout, it's so easy to pan fry and tastes so amazing.

| Yum! I love rainbow trout too!!! Tonight we had salmon (I kind of always use this creamy mayonnaise based lemon dill garlic sauce on top) with saucy white she'll noodles, cheesy potatoes au grautin (lots of salty carbs I know but we are cleaning pantry and freezer out) and sautéed cabbage and onions with garlic and butter.

If you get it right you have this really delicious layer of fat between the skin and the meat that is the best part of every bite. I gotta admit I never make Ramsay's potato salad though, if I have crab I'm either steaming it and eating with some clarified butter or making crab cakes. I don't think I could ever use so much crab meat in a potato salad lol.

| I can't think of any fish I don't really love though lol. Salmon, brown trout, rainbow trout, flounder, Chilean seabass, halibut, tilapia, largemouth bass, mahi-mahi, ahi tuna, yellowfin tuna, red snapper, mackerel, monkfish, I can't think of anything that comes out of the water that I don't like other than sea urchin.

| I was dying for a burger so I grabbed about a half pound of 80/20 chuck, made it into a nice thick patty, seasoned liberally with salt and pepper, cooked it to a nice juicy medium, and used toasted slices of French bread as the buns and topped with a sliced small Haas avocado, a couple of big rings of red onion, some lettuce, and a slice of Borden pepper jack (this stuff is great, it melts like velveeta but tastes 100x better) and served with some mac and cheese I doctored up with bacon, chipotles, and more of that Borden pepper jack. I haven't had a burger that good in a long time, I gotta make these more often instead of running to Whataburger or Jack in the Box.

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | The best chicken alfredo To die for! Don't overcook the chicken. I used a three sweet pepper mix. Yellow red and orange peppers. Mushrooms and three cloves of minced garlic. Then made a white roux sauce with a bit of wine say 1/3 of a cup with two cups heavy cream. Boiled the pasta and mixed all together. Served with hot homemade French stick. My taste buds delightih. Oh yes a 50 50 blend of Parmesan and Gruyere cheese about one and a half cups. Goes into the white. Sauce first

| I was really jonesing for some ramen so I got some Shin Ramyun spicy ramen, poached a skinless chicken breast in 4 cups of chicken stock for 20 minutes so it was nice and moist but still cooked all the way through, put half the stock in the fridge, and added my noodles and the flavoring to the remaining stock. I garnished it with some baby bok choy, some diced scallion, sliced up the chicken and added it, and finally added a soft boiled egg sliced in two. Wow it turned out great.

| Chilidog with onions, cheese, Lays Limon chips, potato salad to which I added extra mustard, chopped onions, Diet Coke and Blue Bell Pecan Pralines 'N Cream yet to come for dessert when I can hold it! I usually eat disgustingly healthy but lunch today I just lost it and went bonkers. Well, I actually lost it yesterday at the grocery store when I bought the weiners, buns, chips, cola and ice cream! Practically everything else in that dang cart was green and leafy! So today, bonkers picnic in the den w/Tibbe having his own special MVD food I'd fixed in the microwave. Now we're both vegging in front of the television.
