Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Do any foods make you sweat? Some of the most random foods have always made me sweat. It's not an all over sweat - it's like an instant sweat all over my neck, my scalp, and my face. Some of the foods are: Ketchup Lik-M-Aid (anyone remember that? loved it) Citrus anything Most Salsas Hot and Sour soup SweetTarts Sprees (these make me so hot!) I can't think of all of them, but that's off the top of my head. Anyone have the food sweats?

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Interesting Ann, looks like most of your sweat foods are of sweet/sour varieties...makes me think there has to be a scientific explanation. About the only foods that will make me sweat are extremely spicy hot foods.... lol...and watching a guy on Food Network eating hot wings rated at over 5M Scovill units. He could eat only one wing and very few at the restaurant have eaten more than 3. For those that can't stomach more than 3 wings, their name goes on the "hall of shame" (my name would there).

I think citric acid-y things and things with vinegar might be part of the culprit for me...

| If I eat a lot of really really spicy food, I will sometimes start sweating. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants makes their Mole sauce REALLY! spicy. If I eat a whole plate of chicken mole there I will start to sweat- but thats it.

| I used to eat this General Tso sauce at my old job & loved it, can't find anything similar that's not in a gallon jug....the downfall? I sweat like crazy, not to mention my nose runs as well. I don't think it's that hot & I'm usually wimpy about that kind of stuff so I don't know why it happens.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It makes me *hot*, but in all the wrong ways. I make him feel the sweat on my neck, just to confirm how put out I am by the heat - and he just doesn't feel turned on. It's weird.

| I have never heard of this before, so safe to say I don't do it. Does any feeling go along with the sweating, like faster heart beat or breathing? This is really fascinating.

| This is strange! Ann you are weird! jk! I only sweat from food that is hot soup or very spicy food, or I happen to be eating it in a non air conditioned room. However, when I sniff Uni's head, my mouth waters, how's that for weird?

| No, we use a chicken alfredo recipe, it gives such a soft & creamy lather.
