We actually have never been to Magnuson Park as we live on the Eastside, but I think we may do a test run in the next couple of weeks. A couple of other small breeds have their meetups there so I thought it would be a good choice. Hopefully it works out. I think it will be so much fun to watch all the yorkies play. I know Bentley is very excited to meet Yoda Griffin is very shy and will probably just sit and bark at everyone

Ooh! Ooh! *raises paw* We'd love to attend! In fact, the more Bodhi meets with other dogs, the more he allows other dog owners to touch him. This is a very big sign of progress for him. I wonder what he'll think of being with other yorkies as he is around so many other breeds instead of his own. Sounds fun!

Yes, unless it is downpouring, we will be there. We went and checked it out yesterday and had lots of fun. I'm hoping we have a lot of yorkies there!

Boy, did I screw that up :( Well, Hubby and I each had checked the calendar today. And we each thought the meetup was at noon! If there was an emote with a frowny face hitting itself over the head with a hammer, I'd use that, too. We did see a couple there from Vancouver, WA with an 8 week yorkie and a golden dog of some other breed. The pup was so cute and outgoing. I'm sure the brat dog that stole some other dog's ball was gone by the time you got there. He kept getting into skirmishes with any dog that happened to be near him and 'his' ball. (Why his owner stayed for so long is beyond me. Guess she was too busy chatting with other owners ) I had my camera, but had so much trouble trying to adjust it for the bright sun reflecting off the ground, that I just put it away. Haven't done that since Maui last Christmas/New Year. Besides, I wanted to make sure Bodhi wasn't going to get attacked by the ball-stealing-demon-dog. Nevertheless, Bodhi enjoyed being off-leash and roaming in the tall straw/grass. We checked out the Dog Show in the hanger. Bodhi got lots of treat samples from the vendors. izza: opkorn: We had a Morning Social here at our apartments earlier. Between that and the Park, we are all ready for a nap. I hope that we can have another chance to meet each other, soon! Last edited by Bodhi'sMom; 06-18-2005 at 02:31 PM. Reason: Hey! What's up with the pizza & popcorn emotes?

Aww, sorry to have missed ya. There were just three people and four Yorkies that showed up, Bentley'sMom showed up with Bentley and Griffin and another lady showed up with her shy 4 year old Madeline, and Yoda showed up with me and Yoda's Mommy. It was a blast still with only a few of us. THANK YOU Bentley'sMom for organizing it, and your babies are really cute! We look forward to doing it again next time... I'll post some pictures later!
