Hi everyone... Sigh...yes, we are starting our search for our new baby already. I'm having a hard time finding breeders on the web that are located in WA state. Anyone out there?

Thanks,

I know of several, send me a pm as to where you are and I can try to help. What is your price range?

Default Repunzel, I'm on hold

for a puppy till my hubby figures out how to finance one! But I did go to the All Breed Dog show in Puyallup, WA today... it was so fun! There were only 6 yorkies there, but I got a card for a lady in Marysville, if you are interested.. PM me... I can give you her number. Very nice older lady that has been owning, breeding and showing for many years.

Awwww I wish I had known you were in Puyallup yesterday. I was at Meeker Days all day with my furbabies and would have loved to have met up with you. The Fairgrounds are just down the street from where Meeker Days was being held.

Bummer~! I actually live near Puyallup, in Buckley. Where do you live??? It would be nice to meet you in person. The dog show was fun and I only cried once for a short time. My sister and sister in law were with me and they are so sympathetic. Both have lost doggies in the past and love their furbabies as much as I always do.

I just put a deposit down on a puppy in Port Angeles. There are two breeders there that I know of. The one I am working with might still have two males left b. 6/10/06. PM me if you would like more info.

Thanks! I already got my puppy though! Where did you go? I went to Herron's Yorkies in Montesano. My baby is 10 weeks old and about 2 lbs. She's a darling! Go to Joeysmom's photo album and look up Phoebe girl's album. She's a sweetie!

I know there were two other breeders in that general area. I'd love to know who you dealt with, how it works out and what your baby looks like, size etc. I know I will want another one, and probably a little boy next time. I just wasn't ready to "replace" Joey, so I opted for a girl.

Good luck!

I have been working with Shades of Iris Kennel in Port Angeles. This gal's mother also breeds Yorkies on the peninsula (She plans on another litter in late fall). They are only 3 weeks old now, 2 boys and two girls. I have one of the girls, the other girl is spoken for. Iris is the mom, she weighs 5 lbs. The Sire weighs 4 lbs. I attached a pic of one of the pups. They all look alike right now. I believe my baby will be named Miss Grace, aka Gracie.

Default A bit far maybe?

I can recommend my breeder if anyone is interested. He has quite a few litters I think and possibly ready to go . . best way is to call them of course to find out . . .But if anyone has seen my baby Annika, that is where I got her. He breeds championship bloodline yorkies . . . PM me if interested!

Oh, he lives in Colville, WA . . out in the boonies . . .and you would not believe interested buyers such as myself would go to such a remote location just to get his puppy . . .

Default New to Forum

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum.
Things at our house are pretty sad. Our Yorkie unexpectedly passed away on Monday. I must admit I am having a really hard time with this. It was so unexpected. Phoebe went everywhere with me. I know that I need to get through the grieveing stage if possible, and then I really want to replace her. I would really appreciate any help from those of you that have just purchased new puppies.

I have not had to deal with breeders before, Phoebe was given to me by the people that I puppy sat for. They were just way to busy with 3 boys & they said that she would sulk for days after I would bring her back.
Phoebe weighed 3lbs 9ozs and that was after she had eaten and had a full tummy.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hi Dizpatch. Welcome! I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I am in the process of purchasing my first Yorkie and am getting her from a breeder. What kinds of questions do you have? This is a really supportive group. Getting a new baby will be most helpful in helping you get through your loss. There will never be another Phoebe, but there is another baby out there who needs your love!

Default Thank you

Thank you for your thoughts & prayers with Phoebe's passing.

I hope this is OK for me to post here.
Iam trying to educate myself right now, with learning a little bit about breeders. If that makes any sense. I would like to find a breeder in WA, that way I could easily drive & see them. I am not looking to breed or show, I do want another small yorkie. I also think it is really helpful to talk to people, anyone can make a beautiful ad, but it is the references that really count!

Thank you for your help and support.
