| Yorktese/morkie WANTED! Hey eveyone! Im in some desperate need of a little help. I have been searching and searching for a yorkie/maltese hybrid mix. I haven't been able to find a breeder in the Pacific Northwest. The closest I've come is california but they want well over a grand + shipping. My fiance and I live in a townhouse and REALLY want a small adorable addition to our family. (i asked for a baby!!! LOL) I have come to fall in love with this mixed breed. I can't spend 1000 on a puppy. I don't want one for breeding purposes or anything. Just to love unconditionally and spoil ROTTEN!!! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Have a terrific day! Anndrea!!!! |

| Be sure you are going into this informed. These are not hybrids they do not avoid health problems. They have the same potential of health problems as the Yorkie or Maltese and the combination of the two can have the health problems of either breed. I know because I have seen Yorkie/Maltese crosses with liver shunt, luxating patella's, severe allergy problems, badly under or overshot causing some teeth problems etc. You will not know anything about the grandparents or further back in the pedigree. You will hopefully at least be able to see the parents. There is no standard for these crosses they can look anything from a maltese to a Yorkie and everything in between. If neither parent is a purebred, there are other breeds in their makeup that can come out in the forefront in the offspring, These are not a breed, they are crosses. I have seen small breed crosses grown in size from anywhere starting at 5 lbs to 25lbs in my pet grooming business even from small parents. How? YOu have no idea what produced the parents. These are mixed breeds and really I think anything over a few hundred dollars is way too high in price. But that is up to you as long as you know what you are buying. |
