Tiny Yorkies who happen to carry the small-doggy gene are still just Yorkies. My little guy came from a small Dame and small Sire (4-5 lbs) and just happened to turn out to be very small himself... With a HUGE personality! My Rottweiler even steps aside to allow Didymus to pilfer his food. A tiny little bully he is! LOL!
Any other Idahoans out there? |
Yes, I am from North Central Idaho (Peck, Id) between Lewiston and Orofino. Lilly our 11 week old Yorkie weighed 19 oz. this morning. She is something else, beautiful healthy and full of life...very intelligent, doing excellent on pottie training so far. According to charts she should be about 2 1/2 lbs finished. My mother-in-law has raised them for about 15 yrs or so now and she is smallest she ever raised. Mother from Burgundy line of small Yorkies, she weighs about 4.5 lbs and father is Sundance lines and weighs 6 lbs. Her mother was purchased for over $2,000. Is your little guy still intact?
