We are actually moving to Beaverton from IA in less than 2 weeks - eek! Hopefully K'nute and I will be able to meet some fellow OR YTers I've been trying to pay attention to suggestions of groomers and vets in the Portland area because as of now I am completely uneducated. Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

I live in Beaverton! However, I don't yet have a Yorkie. I won't have my little man until November. So I'm not any help on places to go for pet care and stuff. But welcome to Oregon! Maybe by the time I have mine you'll be able to tell me where to go ...lol

[F][/font] Hello All. This is my first post. First post on YT, first post anywhere. I live west of Portland, in Cornelius with Daphne, my 16 week old Yoranian (1/2 Yorkie, 1/2 Pomeranian), Chloe, 7 year old Pomeranian, and my hubby. Chloe and Daphne are not related. Chloe is a 5lb sable colored Pom, Totally laid back (except for when someone is at the door). Daphne came from the Spokane area, and she is my first Yorkie cross. Her mom (Pomeranian) weighs 4 1/2 lbs and is all black. Her dad (Yorkie) is also under 5lbs. Daphne was the runt of a litter of 3 puppies. Now she eats like a horse and attitude; good grief, I think she believes she is "Ten feet tall and bullet proof". Chloe and I are learning all about having a busy puppy in the house. I have been trying to find information on this particular cross, but I haven't been very successful. I am disabled, so both dogs are a lot of entertaining fun. If anyone out there has experience with Yoranians, I would love to hear from you. Yorkiemama24 and Foamdee2681, I am not to far from Beaverton and I can talk Yorkie forever. Dafzmom![]()

My groomer is down in Woodburn, so that's not very close for you. I really like her too. Prince and Angel love her, but she doesn't cut Noah's hair because he "beat her up" when she tried. He can be pretty wild, but we're working on it. ![]() Angel is pretty shy around most people and doesn't give kisses to hardly anyone. She kisses the groomer all the time.
