| Cocker Spaniel Anyone have Cockers with their Yorkies? How are they together? My boyfriend's first dog (and only, other than Chloe) was a Cocker and I just know he'd love another one! I'd like to surprise him with a little boy Cocker, a brother for Chloe. Also, can ya'll tell me everything you know (or want to tell me lol) about Cockers? Temperment, size, etc... He had a white cocker, but I really like the dark red/brown ones. I'm doing research, but it's easier to hear it from real owners, especially those with Yorkies. Thanks SO much!

| I have a black and tan cocker spaniel. Peppi is 8 years old and gets along great with the yorkies. Her and Destiny are the best playmates, they love playing together. Peppi weighs around 25 pounds, she is a smaller cocker but a little over weight. Her temperament is great, she loves everyone and plays so good with the little ones. And she is so smart, one of the smartest dogs I ever had. I just love cockers and if it weren't for the grooming I would have a bunch of them. I would love to get another cocker someday. I have always wanted a buff or a parti cocker. Here is a pic of Peppi.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Peppi is adorable - was he really sleeping with a flower ?? I love that picture !! Tessa has quite the life too lol - This was her one day when I was mopping floors and airing pillows...She never got off her bed even though it was outside for an hour and yorkies don't corner the market with clothes - she LOVES to be dressed up |

| I have a Cocker, Toby and my friend (Looking4puppy) has a Yorkie, Rainbow. Toby and Rainbow are the best of friends! They LOVE to play together. Rainbow lives next door and when I take Toby outside, that's the first place he goes. He stands by the front door and waits for me to open it, then he's off to find Rainbow. They play very well together. About their size, average cockers grow to be around 14" - 15" tall and weigh between 18lbs-25lbs. They're very LOVING, hyper, and they get VERY attatched to their owner. Here's Rainbow and Toby: |

| My cockers and yorkies get along well together. My sister's cocker on the other hand doesn't like my yorkies at all. I have 2 cockers (male and female) with a litter of 6 pups right now. (My male is not the father of the pups.) And I have 2 female yorkies right now. I love my cockers!!!!!!! I grew up with a cocker and they have been my favorite breed all my life. They are wonderful dogs!
