Default I need some help..

My pomeranian Rocco has had diarreah since about 6pm last night. He was up about 3 times in the middle of the night to go out, and had it each time. Also this morning. He has not eaten anything unusual that I know of. I had some medicine the vets gave me when he was a pup gor diarreah, so I just gave hime a little of that. I also can hear his tummy gurggling and he doesn't seem to want to eat or drink. I am worried to death and my vets are not reachable on Sunday. We do have an emergency vet, I went to them a couple of times, but they really were not any help any of the times I have been there, they didn't seem to have any answers to any of my problems. So if I can wait I will go to my vet tommorrow. Does anyone have any ideas?? Of course I keep thinking could it have to do with all of the food recalls?? He eats Natural Balance duck & potatoe kibble only, I know it wasn't recalled, but you never know it could be added. What are the symptoms if they have eaten the recalled food?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Might just be a virus.

I know my youngest done that a few weeks ago. I could hear his little tummy growling. He also stunk so bad he would run me out of the room. He had diarreah for about 2 days and then was fine. Not growling, stinking or anything. Was back to normal eating. I thought maybe a virus or he had got ahold of some table food that didn't agree with him. I was really nervous because of the recalls. If he don't seem anybetter by the morning I would take him on.

Did yours eat or drink in that couple of days? I am just worried because he won't drink. What could I try to feed him, or should I not feed him?

Mine was drinking. Maybe you could get a dropper and give him some water. I wouldn't worry to much about food.

Definitely make sure he is eating and drinking. If he isn't drinking, maybe you can get him to eat something a little wet - like some fruit. Have you tried offering Pedialyte or Gatorade? I would also head to the store for some canned pumpkin and give him a tsp or so of that every couple hours. It will help with the diarrhea as well as get him some additional nutrients. Hope it's nothing.....

He seemed better all day, I didn't feed him anything all day and suringed him water because he wouldn't drink. His tummy started gurgling again about an hour ago and he had diarrhea again, although nothing much comes out but liquid. I did give him some medicine again that I had from when he was a puppy for diarrhea, maybe it had just worn off, and I gave him a little pumpkin just now too. I can tell he doesn't feel good, layed around all day. When he was a puppy he had these symptoms when I got him for at least 3 weeks before they finally diagnosed him with giardia and treated him, could he have that again?? His breath is bad too. Any more advice on what it could be??

I took him to the vet this afternoon and the vet put him on an antibiotic. He thinks maybe he ate something that didn't agree with him, which could be possible, I catch him trying to get in the trash all the time. Everything else looked good, so hopefully he will get to feeling better.
