| AKC.....cocker puppies I'm so aggrivated at AKC right now. I finally got the puppy registration forms for my litter of cockers but they put the whelp date wrong. I called them and explained that the date is wrong and they told me they would fix it in the computer and when the new owners send in the papers it will be correct on their forms. I am thinking this will make selling my puppies harder. They were born on Feb. 17 but AKC put it at Mar. 17. This is the reason I don't use AKC that often. Has any breeders out there have a simialr problem and was it harder to sell the pups? My pups are 8 1/2 wks old now so I'd really like to get them in their new homes.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I've never had a problem with the AKC - but I would just explain just what happened to your puppy buyers, and re assure them of the correct whelp date and that their papers will reflect the correct date Good luck. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would ask AKC to put it in writing on their letterhead so you can give copies to the new owners.

| They said they won't send me anything else. I have already received the puppy registration forms with the wrong info. They told me it is corrected in the computer but I don't believe them since they sent me an email with the wrong information in it and I called them and they said they would fix it before sending out the puppy forms. They didn't correct their mistake. I've never had this happen before although I've had other problems with AKC.

| Hopefully any interested owners would understand. If nothing else, get AKC on the phone and hand it to them if you can. I understand you frustration though...sounds like a pain that you shouldn't have to deal with. Just goes to show AKC isn't perfect, despite what so many preach. They are definately lacking in their customer service skills. |
