| Ferrets and Yorkies? can it be done? would the terrier part of a yorkie be so hard to over come? I want out about today and looked at some wonderful little clever ferrets they were so sweet. abit of bitters. but I loved them. Mr J was quite curious but stayed in my lap as they ran about on the floor. is it doable? with training and a careful eye? TyTy and Mr J |

| Im not sure..The only reason i know about ferrets is because i was looking into getting on..I sure people out here have them but there's a risk of someone telling on you and getting a really high fine..

| CA laws the list of unallowed pets would scare you Let me see, 1. ferrets 2. gliders 3. hedgehogs 4. certain monkies. it's endless. one of the things that sparked my interest in ferrets,is they are easy to leash trained and can use a litter box. bad things are MAN their poo stinks. LOL tyty |

| My son had a ferret named Pyro, we had him for 6 years. (He died this past summer ) He was so sweet, he had a huge condo he kept him in. He was let out to run around but we had to keep Bailey on a leash or in another room when he was out. I was afraid she would hurt him...when she was let back in the room he was in, she would actually do a tracking grid pattern on the floor....good nose. She would lay by his cage and watch him and he would tease her by throwing a ball around in his cage...lol...Our son was devastated by his passing. They are very cute but do have a strong scent.

| I wonder why they are against the law to own in certain states...cant remember the last time I was in a pet store that didnt have a ferret, and a hedgehog..once in a while I see sugar gliders (cute cute cute) but we must have bans on monkeys here because I have never seen any kind of monkey here for sale..although I wouldnt mind seeing a real live monkey hehe..
