Donating YT 30K Club Member | Just got back from the vet with Maya, my Pom and Cali. Cali just had a minor skin infection on her nose. Maya went in for her DHLLP shot and ended up not getting it. They think she may have Cushungs or hypothyroidism. They did blood work and I will know tomorrow. They also did a Xray because they heard a heart murmur and her heart is enlarged and her trachea is collapsed but not severely in her throacic area. Wow I was pretty overwhelmed with all this bad news. Please keep her in your prayers.

| Hi Patti, I am sorry to hear your little Pom is not doing well. Just wanted to give you a link to people with knowledge about Cushings Disease, and to tell you that the diagnosis is quite a bit more involved than simple bloodwork. It is not always easy to diagnos and can be misdiagnosed as well. Hopefully she does not have it but it is treatable. Here is the link and sending healing thoughts for your baby http://www.caninecushings.net/forums/

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Update On Maya Maya's thyroid test came back as being very low so I had to take her in again today for a more comprhensive thyroid test that will take 10 -14 days for results. The vet said her test result was very low. Something about -8 being low and hers was not even -4. So hopefully we can get her diagnosed and on the right medicine so she will feel better soon.
