| Someone's Cheating on Thier Diet.... I think Penny is hiding twinkies somewhere and eating them when Im not looking. So far I think Miss Penny has been on this diet for at least 2 months and someone hasnt lost any weight yet (I kinda think she has actually gained some more weight, at least she has more rolls when she sits down now) I guess she is gonna need a personal trainer, lol

| Poor thing she looks bloated. I put my lab on a diet and noticed that if anything she was getting heavier and I knew she wasn't cheating. When I took her to the vet I found out it was actually fluid retention because she has an enlarged heart (she's almost 12). Anyway, not trying to scare you or even suggest that that's what's going on. Oh, we knew my lab had an enlarged heart but it was worse than any of the vets suspected. She's doing much better now that she's on medicine for congestive heart failure and water retention. |

I hope its not that. Im about to take her to the vet to check out some other stuff so I think I am goign to ask the vet about her weight becasue I am almost positive she has gained more since I put her on the diet. Being an indoor dog she doesnt get as much excersize that she needs and I really really keep meaning to start going on walks with her. I am being a very bad mommy!

| Poor Penny!!! She is not big, just full figured. Maybe it is not the diet, she might have a thyroid problem. Did the vet test for that yet? |
