| Maltese and Yorkie Hi everyone, just a general question here about 2 little dogs My yorkie, Cookie (he), will be 3 months on the 10th and the maltese (she), Luna, will be 3 months on the 21st. I was reading other posts and it seems to be that their "fighting" is really playing. I was just concerned because she seems to be really aggressive but he doesn't cry out so I guess they are playing. I just have one question though. She is really aggressive with us as well. I thought it was because she was teething possibly but she snips a lot and when you yell at her or try to get her to stop something, she becomes angrier. Any advice? |

| I train all my dogs with positive re enforcement. It took some longer than others to get it. But I think if you are playing with them both and she starts to nip and be aggressive, you should not yelll but just put her in a crate and continue to play with the other one. It will take her awhile to get it but she's start to understand her agressiveness is not tolerated. However, I do believe each dog has their own personality and she can learn to behave but she just might be the wild child! Good Luck! |

| are there any good trainers in your area? It's never too early to start, just make sure you check them out, and that they use positive methods. Lots of good advice on here about that good luck!
