Donating YT 7000 Club Member | My poor baby! I feel so bad for Rusty! He got hit by a car a few years ago, and his arthritis gets really bad in the winter. He's been doing great this year and hasn't been in any pain at all, but with all this snow and everything his hip is killing him. Poor boy....we have medicine from the vet we've been giving him and that seems to be helping.

| Read this: Things improved a bit when the manufacturers removed all dairy from the pet foods. In the following years, the milk coated puppy and kitten chows went the way of the buffalo and some amazing things happened. Suddenly, there was a noticeable drop (to me, anyway) in the incidence of rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, and diabetes in the dog. I have not had a case of rheumatoid arthritis in forever. from http://dogtorj.tripod.com His website is a little tough to read but definitely worth the effort. His finding makes a lot of sense to me and his approach in diet is eye opening. I hope you read it. I believe taking his advise has helped my Jewel tremendously with her GME.

| I am so very sorry your baby is having so much pain, have you thought about trying a joint supplement, they work wonders. A word of caution, though, you must be consistent and use it daily. Be sure it contains the following ingredients: Glucosamine hcl (for joint fluid), Chondroitin sulfate (for joint cartilage), MSM (homeopathic pain reliever) and Ascorbic acid (vitamin C--for absorbtion). |

| Megan, I am sooo sorry for poor Rusty! We who are a "little" older certainly understand the effects of cold weather and our bones! I wonder if one of those theraputic beds would help him? Smoochies from Toto and I hope spring & sunshine will be there soon!!
