| Help me figure out what Dorrie is? This is Dorrie (our dog that had distemper as a puppy). We were told she was a miniature schnauzer, but as she got older, it became obvious she was a mix of some sort. I've wondered what she was for years! The photos of her on the couch and on the maroon rug with the towel next to her were taken when she was under a year old. The others were taken today. Her hair has become super thin (EASILY mats), kinda curls, and is fluffy. We usually keep her super short now, since she mats so easily. (She's getting groomed this week or next) She's about 12-13 pounds. Sorry for the dark photos! Any ideas?

| Oh, shih tzu is a real possibility. She definitely has the body more like a shih tzu than a schnauzer.

| I had 4 mini Schnauzers at different times, and I can definitely see Schnauzer in the eyes & muzzle, but the ears look like Shih-tzu to me and the curly coat on the back looks poodle. She sure looks like a sweetie.

| Ooh definitely could be some shih tzu! She's super sweet. She definitely is my boys' dog. She's SO protective of them, but she's a big scaredy cat. She's all bark and no bite. Actually, she's terrified of Cherry, too! Haha. Cherry scampers up to her and Dorrie growls and runs away!! LOL

| She's so darling - reminds me of a Daisy dog. What a face!
