| I use Tidy Cat Clumping Litter.. I tried the Automatic Litterbox once for for my cats and didn't care for it, cats didn't like it either... It was more work than just having a regular litterbox.. |

WB Wanda I've used all but like fresh step clumping is the best for me but my Biggles is just so smelly. I'm scare to spend 180 on the automatic litterbox b/c I'm not sure if it will just scare him more.

| I've used them all and I like fresh step the best, it seems to be the best odor control. I have an automatic cat litter box. It worked for the first 2 years but now it is broken. The bad thing about it is that the company has a monopoly on it so no parts are available for it, they just want you to buy another litter box. I'm trying to find something that will work for the part because it is such a simple fix if only I could find the part. I loved it though while it worked and my cats did too. My one cat would go in to activate it and then step out and wait for it to run just so she could watch it, lol. It also uses very little cat litter so it saves you on buying cat litter.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | How many cats do you have? I have 4 cats. I bought the LitterMaid Elite Mega Automatic Self-Cleaning Litter Box. It is made for muti cats. It was big. But it is not good for anything more the two cats max. If i only had two i would have kept it. I got it a petsmart. When I was looking at it they told me if I did not like it, they would take it back. I returned it. I have a big corner litter box I got a while ago in petsmart. Works great. Gives them lots of room. I use a natural clay litter with baking soda in it. I did not find any difference between the others and I don't like the fragrance ones. It bothers me and the kitties. Also a tip for people that have groundhogs. If you fill the hole with the used clay cat litter they will not dig the holes back up and they will move

| We use whatever is "sand"like and is on sale - typically tidy cats. We have a regular litter box with a spiral staircase inside with a cover - it looks like an igloo. Ody is solid so little boxes are too cramped for him. This is what it looks like in brown: Amazon.com: Booda Dome Cleanstep Cat Box, Brushed... On top of the Tidy Cats, Chad uses Arm & Hammer (I think??) Cat Odor control. If Chad hasn't cleaned it in 4 days (K;MN"@ELK) then it starts to smell, but not before then.

I had 2 cats and had to change the receptacle every other day, it doesn't hold much. Here is a tip though if you go with an automatic cat litter box. I bought small scented trash bags from the dollar store and put them inside the receptacle, they fit perfect. So instead of replacing the receptacles all the time I would replace the bags because the bags are so much cheaper for as often as you have to change them and they smelled good as well. Someday I would like to get the Liter Robot, I have heard great things about it but I just can't bare to pay that much for a cat litter box but maybe I will end up breaking down and buying it eventually. Litter-Robot II - Classic

| I have 4 different boxes for 2 cats- Each box probably has a different clumping litter. I buy which ever litter is on sale when I need more. I buy store brand, Tidy Cat, Nature's Miracle, Arm n'Hammer, etc. I have also bought Yesterday's New (recycled newspaper) and World's Best cat litter (corn kernels). 1 litter bow has raised side since Tallulah will let her butt hang over the edge otherwise. 2 regular/generic litter boxes. Mika gets a covered box because Tallulah is a pig and Mika has Litterbox OCD.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Omg . . . Too funny. I have one like that. As soon as the box is cleaned he bolts in it and rearranges the the litter to his needs and then uses it. I figured he like sides higher. So now it do that. LOL and the entrance I have to keep low cause my youngest "she" the only girl like to make a mountain over hers lol what we do for our kitties
