| Does anyone have a boxer too? I have a female boxer, Dixie Belle, and she will be two by the time we will start looking for a yorkie baby. If anyone has this combo, boxer and yorkie, how does it work out for you? Dixie is a huge lap puppy. My mom has Jack Russell that keeps Dixie in her place. So, I am not extremely afraid that Dixie will hurt the yorkie, but I will be careful. Also, does anyone have any advice on what sex yorkie to get? I have heard that 2 females are harder because they have more issues with dominance. I just heard that, but if anyone has any advice, it is welcome. |

| I also have a boxer as well as my two yorkies, they get along great. There are quite a few members here that have boxers as well. My boxer Breeze(about 8 months)was scared of my little female yorkie when we brought her home. It was funny to see my big dog saying " Help Mom, save me!!!!!!" They have got along really well, my boxer is very gentle around the yorkies and I was more worried if my boxer would be safe around them, lol. Good luck finding your new baby. |

| Hello, I am in Georgia as well. We have a boxer puppy, Gunner(6 months old and male). Skittles gives him a run for his money! She is 2.5 yrs old and definitely runs the house and lets him know. I do keep my eye on them when they are playing, not sure who will hurt who first. He goes for the hair around her face and she goes for his ears! lol Naturally Gunner is my hubbys dog, and he has thrown a wrench in my plans to get a male yorkie after the first of the yr. Now I am thinking it will be a yr or two before I can. But anyways, they are fine together. He keeps me on my toes and as well thinks he is a lap dog! Good luck

| My Mother and Step Father have 2 boxers. Beautiful, comical dogs. Never had my yorkies running "freely" with them, I'm too scared that they may think they are a toy...but they are sweet dogs, and I actually like them alot! |

| Hi, my Boxer Zeek is 10 years old & my Yorkies are, I have 3, 1 1/2 years old & 9 months old. They all play wonderfully together. Zeek is really careful not to hurt them. He uses his paw to move them around & will sometimes barely push on them with his nose to get them to squeak like a squeaky toy. It is too darn cute for words.

| I have a boxer named Penny. She is almost 4 and she thinks she is my little dogs mother She get along with them very well and it funny because after hanging out with the little dogs, she thinks she is one of them. SHe tries to lay in thier little beds and she is determined to be a lap dog. SO watch out! Little dogs trick Big dogs into thinking they are little too!

My son has a boxer that was probably 2 or 3 when they got their yorkie and, they are the best of friends. We also have an 18 month old granddaughter and he has never snapped at her. They are wonderful dogs. My husband has said several times that when something happens to our 14 1/2 year old Shih Tzu and our 6 year old lab that he wouldn't mind having one. They are extremely smart and gentle. Both of my son's are males. The only male dog we have is Wyatt the other 3 are girls and we have never had any dominance problems. Of course, Precious our Shih Tzu doesn't think she is a dog so, she doesn't pay much attention to them. I'm sure they will be fine.

She is beautiful. My son's boxer is white. I had never seen a white one before. Here is a picture of him and Mollie when we were up there last fall.

Too cute, reminds me of Wyatt and Sadie our Lab he stands up on his hind legs like that and just kisses her all over her face. She doesn't mind at all. I've never had to get on to her for getting to rough.

| I have 2 Boxers - Beowulf will be 2 years in February and Luna will be 5 months old on the 30th. I also have a Chi, Pixie and of course Piper. I can't say enough good things about the bond Piper has with my Boxers, especially with his bigger brother Beo. Piper follows him around EVERYWHERE. If Beo refuses to listen so too does Piper. If Beo gets love, so too does Piper. If Beo lifts his leg to pee outside Piper follows along behind and has to lift his leg too and piddle on the very same spot (sometimes he gets his head too close while Beo does his duty ) but they LOVE each other soo much. When I brought Piper home Beo wasn't sure what he was and was actually afraid to go near him because Piper would snap at him if he did. So funny!! Luna just fits right in and they all 3 play together...Pixie is more of a Princess but will occassionally join in. My Boxers are so gentle yet playful with Piper and just as important with my 1 year old son. They are gentle in nature and wonderful pets. I think the combo is perfect!! I need to download more recent pics from my digital camera but here are some oder ones of my babies...Beowulf, Luna, and Tristan getting LOVE from Beo

| We have the pleasure of being owned by Boo the Boxer .... her full name is" Ron's Gotta Big Booger. She is the most incredible canine communicator I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Now, don't get me wrong, my Yorkie babies are .....well, they are part of me, but there are no words to really describe Boo |

| My daughter has an 11 month old female boxer that gets along great with my yorkies and her room mates 3 lb pomeranian. As a matter of fact, Doodles the boxer is scared of my 2 yr old yorkie and thinks she is the baby's mom. She is so gentle...I too worry she will get hurt by one of the yorkies! They pull her around by her lip. |
