| Our new one eared bunny! Introducing Freya! She is such a beauty and don't worry she was not an Easter present! We picked her up on Friday. I have been wanting a playmate for Roary for some time now but had to get him neutered first then wait a month before introducing a girl rabbit! I'm more than happy with my decision! There were a few rescues to choose from but as soon as the woman told me that everyone was put off Freya because of her missing ear I just knew that she was the one for me!!! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pic...ictureid=51562 The cage is temporary whilst they bond-the less space they have to chase each other around the less stressful it is for both! And me!!! No fighting as yet, a little humping which I have been assured is normal even for neutered rabbits! So far so good!

| No. She's quite big, bigger than Roary who is a lion head. I was told she is a Smoke Pearl which I thought was just a colour but I've been googling and there is a breed called the Smoke Pearl-its classed as a giant breedI hope she does'nt get too much bigger than Roary! Although they do have alot of room in the garden and a large wendy house to live in. The lady had just relocated from Scotland where the Smoke Pearl originated, she said they are well known there but almost unheard of here She's such a doll, a little "scrabbley" if you know what I mean, but with a little time and patience I'm sure she'll calm down.

| I've been trying to do more research on the Smoke Pearl breed of rabbit and am finding it very difficult! One thing that I did find out is that its a very rare fur breed Originally developed for the fur industry in Scotland and since the desire for fur has died here this breed is disappearing

| awww I love bunnies, I had a couple most of my life. So soft and sweet (most of the time). I had them indoors though and their lifespan always seemed so short when they were indoors. I had a beautiful male lop named Jameson, he was white and tan and about 8lbs, he was such a doll and loved my old roommates kitty. They were always together! She taught him how to use the literbox! Except he used to sleep in it so I had to wash him a lot more often! LOL
