My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Meet my two little boys Kiwi and Mango !!! I have been so bad not introducing my 2 little boys! I got them when they were just 9 week sold in December. I have always wanted a bird, never had one, and finally just went for it LOL and I'm glad I did. They are so neat! Kiwi is more personalble. He loves me to scratch his head and his neck. Mango...well he isnt into all the petting, but he likes to preen my eyelashes and my eyebrows! LOL They are brothers, but so different. Brooklyn is totally obsessed with them. I think he would actually hurt them if he got ahold of them! The others are more relaxed about it but I'd never trust them. So far I have taught them to do the Wolf Whistle..you know WHOOOOOOT WHOOOOOOOOOOOO and the first verse of Green Acres!!!! LOL Its soooooooo cute! I always come up and call them pretty babies...so I'm hoping they will start to say that. Well here they are! |

| They are so pretty! They are pieds, right? I think that is my favorite coloration (or whatever you call it! ) of cockatiels. Their cage is so nice! Do they like their play gym? I bought two and Fern refuses to stay on them- even when I put tons of treats on them.

thanks! They LOVE their cage. They are all over it! I took the grate out on the bottom so is a smooth bottom for them and they LOVE running around down there, its so funny. Yeah they like their play gym. They mostly just perch on the top though. their FAV place is my kitchen table, so I'll put a millet spray there for them and they have a ball. and I have a fake plant on it and they love tearing it apart. LOL | |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | LOL, I have their wings clipped but they can still get a bit of air. When I was at the breeders house..(now this is gross) one flew on my head....and pooped on my head and it ran down my forhead!!! I know...discusting! and I took him home! LOL |

| Consider it good luck when a bird poops on your head They are so pretty. Love the two names. I had birds for years. We had a cockateil named Charlie. He would sit on the sink while I did dishes and go under the water from time to time while the water was on. He also loved eating with us when we had spaghelli. He would sit on the edge of my plate and drag a piece of spahetti along the table. Actually he was my daughter's but I bought him for her. He also loved the Christmas tree. He would fly in there and just sit until we took him out. They are very smart. Good luck with them. |

| I have always wanted a bird, but never took the plunge. I almost bought a small one about a month ago, but chickened out. They sound like a lot of fun.
