Donating YT 500 Club Member | Pretty sure Samuel had a seizure this morning I was with my younger son on the couch and my husband came home with groceries (he works nights) and immediately, he and Guinness barked ran in circles and then Samuel came and crawled into my lap He's like a cat in that respect, he sort of creeps. But he was almost trying to bury into me I thought he was scared but then he curled into a ball with his legs all tucked in and was scratching at his face and drooling bad. he started shaking and then he sort of went limp but never lost consciencness nor released his bowels. I'm going to call the vet of course. I held him until it went away and loved on him but I put him with a blanket in the crate so he could rest. I know when Maggie had them they would wear her out Had to write this to calm down a bit

| Oh that had to be so scarey. Is there medication that they can give them for that? I'm sorry that you an your baby have to go through that. It sounds like you are experienced with dealing with them, but it still has to be frightening. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I'm about in tears. I can't go through this with another dog I just can't. I can't NOT take care of him either My hubby warned me about having more vet bills, etc and I didn't listen and here we are. He's doing better. He was really upset about being separated from all of us so I let him out. He's acting like he normally does. I'm wondering if he's older than we thought, it's so hard to tell since his teeth are so bad, but the whole breed has bad teeth. He's such a sweet peanut, he's like a little person. He's so patient and loving and curls in my lap. I just want him to have a nice life. On one hand I think I was meant ot get him on another I just feel a bit overwhelmed right now. sigh.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | No he either seemed SCARED TO DEATH or having a seizure. I'm taking him in today. He has been acting perfectly normal ever since.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Hopefully it was a one time thing and he will be ok. My11 year old pom had one about 6 months ago, a grand mal one where we thought she was dying and then dead, I took her to the er vet and they really couldn't do anything for her since she was acting pretty normal just worn out by the time we got there. They said many dogs will have a seizure for no known reason once in their life. I hope that is the case with Samuel. I know how you feel with the stress of having sick dogs!

| Samuel is you little Chinese Crested that you adopted not too long ago, right? I am so sorry that this happened. What did the vet say? Hugs and kisses to your little Samuel. At least he has you to watch over him and make sure that he is okay.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Sorry I have a bad sinus infection and was just wore out when I got home with Samuel. He is doing okay. I spent just under $300 for his check up and all bloodwork and vaccines. He is estimated to be about 5yrs old but he has some bad teeth so who knows. He cried, no actually screamed, when they gave him the shots it broke my heart when they were done, he crawled into my arms like my kids do and just looked over his shoulder at the vet, poor baby. He seems in good health and it could have been a seizure but we are going to keep an eye on him and if he has them again or more frequently I'll take him back and they can access him. I get the bloodwork results back today. I pray he has no heartworms
