So thrusday we took some new x-rays and found that her fracture was terrible and the surgeon didn't know if he could fix her. He took her in to surgery to see what was going on, if he couldn't fix her we would have to amputate her leg. Well after two hours he finished her surgery and was quite pleased with what he did. I took her home friday after work. She is very well behaved for a puppy. She is very good about going outside to potty. She does cry in her crate but i don't blame her. She has to spend a lot of time in there because of the two freshly repaired front legs. No running, jumping, or playing allowed. No stairs, furniture, or beds. She is to sit in her crate, go outside to potty and spend a little while out of her crate with me and morgan. nothing else. its very hard for a puppy but it has to be done. The repairs do not bother her at all. She is on antibiotics and metacam only. No other pain meds are needed. I put a long sleeved shirt on her and took the e-collar off. so far so good. i'll have more pictures soon.

| AAAWWWW what a good thing you did! Little Mylie is adorable. I just can't understand some people. I am SSSOOOOO glad that this family surrendered this sweet precious little soul to the hospital so that she had a chance to have a happy life. hugs to you and Mylie |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Oh, and Mylie is 2.9lbs and three months old. I wish i had some more clothes and harnesses for her. I sold all of Morgan's tiny things when she outgrew them. the shirt i have on her is too big and she likes to chew on it and the step in harness is also too big. This is WITH all the poofy hair. its gonna be even worse when i shave her down (her hair is a mess). lol I was able to buy her a chew toy and some food last night. I'm kinda in a financial hole right now so i can't buy her anything new . she's like the second child who gets all the hand me downs that don't fit. hahahaha

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | She is a poodle-bichon mix. her mom was a bichon and dad was a red 'teacup' poodle.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I'm glad too. I wouldn't care tho if she had to have her leg amputated. I'd still take her in a heartbeat. When she gets spayed in a few months she will most likely have to have the pins removed because of her growing. So hopefully all the implants will be taken out and we won't have to worry about them ever again.
