Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Angel the Afghan This may sound like a strange request but I have a senior citizen White Afghan... ... who is in need of a new Home. I just had her blood levels checked about a 2 months ago & the vet said everything looks pretty normal for her age. I have been at my Daughter's house for 2 weeks only going Home on the weekends. My Husband has been taking care of her and said last week that he couldn't handle it any more. He has Health problems himself & has said she is not allowed back in the house. So I took her to a friend of mine that watches dogs, but she can not stay there because the girl has a full time job & already to many pets. I must rehome her or put her down immediately. I would like her to have one more Summer atleast since her blood levels are stable. She needs somebody that is at Home full time & has a yard. Her biggest problem is in the middle of the night sometimes she has to use the cloth pee-pads. She also has had most of her teeth extracted & must eat canned food, also her legs slide out from her on slippery floors & you must pick her back end up & adjust her, then she will walk fine. We live in Illinois. If anybody is willing to help my White Afghan named Angel. She is an Angel & deserves more than the ending he has expressed she have. Just one last Summer then if her new family thinks it's time to put her down, I will understand & help pay for the procedure also I would want her ashes back. I told you it is a strange request!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | No, I don't think there are any in Illinois. I will check again. The problem is I am at my Daughter's with a new Baby that just got out of NICU, so I can not drive Angel anywhere. Nor am I allowed to take her back in the House when I get home. He is such an A_ _ to say the least. Granted he's sick & I probably shouldn't have put the burden of Angel on him, but there is a right way & a wrong way of doing things. Don't you agree?

| There appears to be an Afghan rescue in Chicago. PAWS Chicago You will have to call for more information. Perhaps if they know the situation they can arrange transportation themselves, I have often seen rescues do this. Good luck, I really hope she finds a home or rescue. Do you have any pictures of her? I love Afghans, they are so beautiful.

Thank You so much for your thoughts & Prayer for my I believe they are helping us. I put an ad in petfinder & have had several responses (eliminating the scams). I have 3-4 good prospects. Also on the flip side. I gave it a week with Angel at my friends Kennel & tried to get into the psycie of a very ill man (my Husband) who was on a poor me kick. I think I have reassured him that he is still important to me, the yorkies & Angel & that I have enough Love in my Heart for all of them & I can take care of all of them. I am picking Angel up today. I do have my back up foster Angels waiting to help if need be. So keep those Prayers coming & Thanks Again to All of You!
