Very cute puppies.
I am not sure if she has had pups before but they need to be kept warm, a nice warm/comfy place like a large pet taxi with a lambs wool pad to keep them warm and snuggly. They need to be protected from drafts etc.

Best of luck, I have always wanted a Dane but never have owned one.

Hey! They aren't kept outside. They are in a large shed. She took them out so there would be good lighting so get a good picture. The shed has a door on it so the mom can get in and out to use the bathroom. Yes they are beautiful!!!

Just what I was thinking. Even if they aren't they still should not be out on the ground this young.

A shed. Yikes. Why not inside the house? Does the shed atleast have heating and cooling

ever had 10+ danes in your house??? LOL j/k. i have bred danes and was fortunate to have a full finished basement with heating and cooling just for my danes....but trust me..once they are 6 weeks old..they are HUGE and having mom, dad, and 8-12 babies in your house at once is like begging for trouble. I loved every bit of it...but it does take a toll on the house. a good friend of mine still breeds danes and she has a very nice "kennel" for them that does have heating a cooling and they dogs live VERY pampered lives. but they are not "in her house". they kinda have their own house LOL

Your friend has heating and cooling in her kennel and they live pampered lives, that didn't answer my question about the shed your parents are keeping the pups and mom in. Do they have heating and cooling in the shed? From what I see they are laying on a dirt or at best a straw floor?

I'm sorry Peppermint. I wasn't paying attention to who post and thought it was the original poster. I see these little ones laying on a dirt floor and I'm just concerned for their well being. They are way to young to be exposed like that. Elaine
