| The best kind of sister for my little Paddinton. Hi guys, My husband and I are thinking of getting a playmate for our 1.5 year old yorkie sometime next year so we are doing our research into what breeds would be best. While we love yorkies, and are definitely considering getting a little yorkie girl, we don't want to rule out other breeds as we love soooo many of them. So we're thinking of either a yorkie, a maltese, or perhaps a morkie. I think Paddy would probably like a yorkie best but I don't know. Any thoughts?

| I hear that a maltese or a chi are great companions for yorkies. but I still love to see 2 yorkies together. It's like they just know they are the same. It's really amazing good luck on your search!!!!!!

| Oh man, my neighbors just got a morkie. It's one of the cutest pups I've ever seen. I've been plotting ways to kidnap him since I laid eyes on him. Good Luck on your decision, and congratulations early on the new addition to your family.

| I agree if you want to go with another breed it would be a maltese, however there are several YT members that have other breeds in there homes. Maybe they will answer you.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Well I would think a Biewer would be a nice contrast for another breed. |

| I think we've now decided on going for a Biewer. However, its months later and we're still researching. Not really ready yet as we're moving and gonna have to settle in again. but at least we're narrowing it down for that some day when we take the plunge of a second dog. Perhaps in another 8 months I'll be asking for Beiwer breeders in IL.
