| Mommy Won't Feed... Mommy Kitty had 4 kittens about 3 weeks ago. We just recently discovered that she keeps moving the "runt" away from the others. It has been cold outside and the kitty has been all alone. Obviously the baby has been eating some 'cause it's still alive. My daughter brought it in today and got some "formula" from the vet and is trying to feed her. Any suggestions???

| I'd make sure the kitty is kept nice a warm and continue to feed it just in case it isn't getting enough milk from the mom. You could just place the kitty on a tit every other feeding as well. |

| A good kitten formula is a can of goat's milk diluted with one can of water -- add two egg yolks (no white) and 2 tablespoons kayro syrup. I have raised a couple of orphan kittens on this formula plus a baby wild bunny that was brought to me that was so young his eyes were still sealed and he had no hair. The bunny thrived and was released and lived for about two years before he was tragically killed by one of our horses -- we think that FuzzyBunny got under the horses feet and got stepped on. |

| We had a stray once that had four kittens....3 males/1 female. The female was sooo tiny and very cute. BUT the momma and the other kittens would have nothing to do with it. I left it alone for a few days (as I didn't know if it was sick or something - is that bad??) Anyway....it kept growing and doing fine, so made sure it was eating and she grew into the biggest kitten we had! I don't know why she was left out though??? I hope that little one does good!

| Well Barbi is continuing with the bottle feeding and then puts it back out with it's mommy. There is a lot of running back and forth.
