I hope you feel better, sounds like a great time to sleep,I love sleeping when it's raining. Isn't it funny how crazy our babies can be, but when ya need to rest or don't feel well, they seem to know,and just lay and sleep with ya.

Hey...sleeping in on a rainy weekend sounds great to me!! Especially in the winter...with a fire

Hope you feel better. I am also very anemic and the dr had me on iron for 12 months...just finished it in April. It will be interesting to me to see if my count stays up. He had me doing it a month at a time and then stopping, but my counts kept going back down.

Do you all have a High School Exit Exam?
I just heard on the radio at one of the schools out here
1/2 the Seniors didn't pass

With only a few weeks left, what are they going to do?

I dont know what they will do but it sounds like someone better be studying!

We have SOL tests...standards of learning. If they'd had those when I was in school for algebra...I'd still be sitting at a desk

We have WASL (Washington Assessment of Student Learning ) out here and oh boy let me tell you about the controversy that has started over the test being a requirement to pass in addition to a Senior Project and the basic learning stuff. Crazy I tell ya!! They just gave the test to our Sophomores last week and they have between now and their Senior year to pass it in order to graduate. I'm sure glad they didn't have those when I was in school.

Yea they have four years to pass it, but OMG 1/2 didn't,
and this year it counts! When they first came up with the test here,
they gave it to all 9th graders, if they passed both Engish & Math, they
didn't have to take it again. Now with only a few weeks left, I kind of feel sorry for the ones who didn't pass. It's going to be a small 2006 class, because the school said they couln't walk if they didn't pass.
We have three more years to worry about it, there's no way our two 9th graders are going to pass. The School said Special Ed or not all students
have to pass it

I just hope they come up with a plan, because if not, I'm not going to be a happy camper!

That test doesnt sound very fun! I dont remember the name of the tests that we had to take, but apparently I passed

P.S. Came into work this morning and I had 2 pkgs of Peeps on my desk, no clue where they came from, the guys said that they didnt bring them in but if nobody claims them by lunch they are going to the trash!

Oh the Peep Fairy! Hmmm.. SOMEONE on here, sent me some peeps also....

I gave them to my Mom on Saturday, she was THRILLED, she wondered why I didn't poke a hole in the plastic, she said they would be hard and stale already... just how she likes them.

And just in case you can't get your peeps to mate....you can cheat and make 'em yourself. You could have Memorial Day Peeps, 4th of July Peeps, the possibilities are endless. Rr, I think I just found your present for mom for mother's day
