| Some home made gift ideas needed! Being that I babysit from home I always make something w/the kids for them to give to their moms for Christmas. We have made flower pots w/their hand prints and filled them w/pens that look like flowers, we have done aprons w/handprints and last year we decorated plates w/special markers that would not wash off. That was a big hit. I am looking for some other cute ideas. I do not sew though. The kids are ages 4,3 and 2 so it has to be somewhat easy for them. Any help would be great! Thanks Amie

| Last year at my sisters school they took 3 or 4 pictures, and put them in a clock and gave it to the parents. I can take a pic of it in a little while for you so you can see what I am talking about. |

| My twins are 23 years old....I still have the plates that they made me for Christmas when they were 4. They are hanging here in the office. I love them... One of our other favorite things they did was a stepping stone for the yard. It has their hand prints and footprints in it...With their name and year....They did it with plaster of paris and little pans that you put under plants..... My MIL has all her grandkids in her yard.....(16)...She is now starting to collect for Great Grand Kids

| Every time my kids made "ornaments" when they where little I always kept them and put them on the tree every year...I always smiled when I saw them knowing they made them... They had paper cut outs of ball shapes, Christmas trees, snow men and snow flakes and they decorated them with glitter, and markers and colored cotton and it had a ribbon to hang them...

| How about those plaster kits that you can get at craft stores to make handprints? You could make hand or foot prints and put the date, then let them dry and let the kids paint them.

| Sorry... I messed up and i don't know how to delete it. Anyways, my idea is... We got red plastic ornaments and put their hand prints in white paint with their palms on the bottom of the balls. Then when they dried we made snowmen out of the fingers with sharpie. We put buttons, eyes ,noses, hats or scarves. Then we put their names and date on the backs. I could send you some picks.

| You can get that hand cement kit, and they can make their handprints in them, and then decorate them.
